Nagoya Area Introduction

Nagoya is the largest city in the Chūbu region which is located in southern Honshu (Japan`s main island).
While carrying on traditions such as ceramics and textiles,
the community has developed modern manufacturing in aviation, automobiles, machine tools, etc. to its core industries.
Nowadays, Nagoya is known as one of Japan’s leading industrial cities and is developing as an international industrial hub.

The station is the most important transportation hub in the region which services various lines on local/extensive networks, such as JR, Shinkansen, Subway, Meitetsu Line and Kintetsu line.

Kanayama

Since the establishment of Kanayama station in 1989, Kanayama has been rapidly developing as a subcenter transport of Nagoya city; in fact, this is the main access terminal to Chūbu Centrair International Airport.
Unlike busiest downtowns, Kanayama features relatively relaxed and spacious atmosphere.
