Higashiyama Zoo & Botanical garden

This is located in Chikusa-ku area, and you will be able to go there by Subway Higashiyama line from Nagoya station. There is a famous gorilla named "Sabanni". He is popular on his handsome face.  Not only him, there are various animals at Higashiyama Zoo.  It will be fun if you can find your favorite animal 😉

Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium

This place is located in Minato-ku area and you will be able to get there by subway Nagoyako line from Kanayama station. (Kanayama station is the one stop from Nagoya station by JR or Meitetsu line)  The fishes and animals are really beautiful. The creature in the ocean is mysterious, that's why they are attractive to us. This place is also good as a dating spot. Why don't you spend time with your boy/girl friend?

Osu Shopping District

This place is located in Naka-ku area. There are so many shops in this area. This is kind of the melting pot of old, new, domestic, and global. If you are interested in the traditional place, Osu Kannon is worth visiting. This is one of the major temple in Nagoya. Most foreigner visit here when they come to Nagoya and they like it. Besides, there are some people called "Osu Annai nin (Osu information staff)" on weekend. They are specialist in Osu area, therefore, you will be able to ask them if you would like to know the shop or the restaurant.
